Staff Protocol

Post  Edith on Mon Jul 14, 2008 2:37 am

Before offering your help in any Cyo-Compendium staff position, please read through the following and ensure that you agree with all of them:

1. There is no payment for your work.

2. Your position isn't permanent - if you no longer meet the requirements for that position, or if you fail to actively contribute to the site (see the relevant section below), you will be removed from your staffing position.

3. You must be willing to relinquish ownership of the contributions that you make to Cyo-Compendium. This means that, should you be removed from our staff list in the future, there is no obligation for us to take down or alter the content that you contributed.

4. Anyone removed from staff (or who asks to be removed) will still have their contribution acknowledged in a separate section on the staff page. However, this will only be a simple list of names.

5. This protocol can be revised at any time. All staff members will be informed and their input will be taken into consideration. However, please understand that ultimately, the decision is mine.

Outline of Duties:

Cyopets Liason
This is a position which recognises helpful Cyopets.com staff members who also support Cyo-Compendium in some way. The only requirement is that they are current staff at Cyopets.com.

Artist
Artists are required to submit monthly status reports in their private staff forum (detailing what they're currently working on, what tasks they wish to undertake, and if any commitments will affect their availability). In addition to these reports, there is a bi-monthly quota of one piece of work. Artists may be asked to leave the staff team if they: fail to meet this quota without legitimate reason, frequently fail to meet the quota, or miss two status reports in a row (reminders are sent out via Cyopets mail).

Battle Council
Battle Council members are required to submit monthly status reports in their private staff forum. When the Battle Council task list is updated, all Battle Council members will be notified via Cyopets mail. Battle Council members may be asked to leave the staff team if they miss two status reports in a row (reminders are sent out via Cyopets mail), or frequently fail to produce weapon testing results without legitimate reason.
